The year 2006 - 2007 has been the year of great achievements & challenges for Haryana Nav Yuvak Kala Sangam as Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India has nominated Regional Resource Agency (RRA) for Haryana State for Conducting NEAC through small NGOs; Department of Health, Govt. of Haryana has nominated District NGO for implementation of Janani Suvidha Yojana (JSY); Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India continued Jan Shikshan Sansthan for Rohtak District of Haryana; Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India has continued the status of Mother NGO under Reproductive & Child Health (RCH II) Scheme. The bigger challenge was accepted to formulate District Health Plans of Jind, Rohtak & Bhiwani Districts of Haryana, Impart Training on Account Keeping to Mahila Mandal SHG Members of whole Haryana & implement Composite Targetted Intervention Project (CTIP) and we could meet the above said challenges successfully. 

Development of Organizational resources has enhanced our outreach at the Micro and Macro level of the society. HNYKS made solid efforts to empower women, to provide health services, implementation of RCH & HIV AIDS Awareness activities, Education and Training, Environment Protection, Services to the Aged, Organising Social events in development sector for its beneficiaries, while at the same time undertook a fresh approach in its work. These efforts would have not been possible with out the team spirit of Managing body and staff at HNYKS. Empanelling new resource persons and approaching new avenues in a professionalized manner are several of the developments that HNYKS experienced in 2006-07 because HNYKS believes in “Learning by Doing”. While we look back on the year gone by as the one, which taught us to reformulate our mission statement, which shall serve us as a guideline in the years to come and look forward to 2007-08 as the year that will strengthen the Organization thus enabling us to serve our targets in a better, innovative and sustainable manner.
