Established in 1983 with an objective of providing sustainable development to urban and rural areas of Haryana. Haryana Nav Yuvak Kala Sangam (HNYKS) has been undertaking various developmental programmes in regionally relevant sectoral areas. In the process, the organization has not only achieved a tremendous field presence but also has developed a body of professionals belonging to various streams. HNYKS has also established a vast network of volunteers at the grass roots level and consultants at regional level. This Human Resource Asset enables the organization to undertake and implement projects of varying nature in a professionalized manner. Each of the organization’s programmes has always focused on achieving programme sustainability and replicability besides the project objectives.

Targeted Intervention Project

Targeted Intervention in context of HIV/AIDS is a set of Activities and Approaches aimed at reducing the risk of HIV Infection among People who practice high-risk behavior. Therefore, Haryana Nav Yuvak Kala Sangam (HNYKS) was sanctioned a Project for TARGETED INTERVENTION PROJECT (TIP) for FSWs at Rohtak town and surroundings.

Haryana Nav Yuvak Kala Sangam is a Voluntary, Non-Profit Making, Non-political, Non-religious and Socio Economic Development Organization (SEDO). Haryana Nav Yuvak Kala Sangam is registered under: HNYKS is registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide Registration No. 716 Dated 29-10-1990. HNYKS is also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 Vide Reg. No. 172370010 Dated 20-8-1999. HNYKS is awarded the status of Mother NGO in RCH Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India on 30th March, 2001. HNYKS is awarded the status of District NGO under JSY. Department of Health, Govt. of Haryana on 18th July, 2006. HNYKS has been allotted Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Rohtak (Institute of People’s Education) assisted by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India on 4th February, 2004. HNYKS has been nominated as Regional Resource Agency (RRA), Haryana for NEAC, Min. of Environment & Forest, GOI on 4th August, 2006.
